I write, edit, and publish short form fiction, much of it SF, fantasy, and magic realism. At last year's "first page" open mic shadow event, I was surprised to find that many of the writers had never published—but hoped to. I have 15 years of experience—good and bad—selling short stories to magazines, anthologies, and podcasts. Maybe I can make your experience a bit better? And if you're selling stories, please bring your tips and tricks—we could all use them! (BTW—I got my start in 2006 writing Jonathan Coulton fanfic. Ask me what was REALLY going up on on Skullcrusher Mountain...)
