I enjoy science of all sorts, but astronomy is my favorite, as you might guess from my photo. As a post-doc on the Sloan Digital Sky Survey, I worked with a team of Japanese astronomers and have maintained my connections with them ever since; I've visited Japan fourteen times and spent a memorable summer working at the Kiso Observatory. I enjoy D&D, card games, video games, playing and watching sports, and reading books (mostly history and non-fiction).
